How You can Help!
Share your home:
Can you offer housing space for out-of-town dancers? Can your parents offer space, or your friends, your neighbors? Guest Jammers bring their own sleeping bags and pillows and their sense of fun and adventure. Let us know if you can offer a bed, sofa, aerobed or floor, and how many people you can accomodate. Contact Tom at [email protected]
Help with Advertising and Promo:
Help me make postcards! Flyer design, advertising and promotion. Invite your contact improv friends near and far. Contact Christine at [email protected]
Donate:
If you’re feeling abundant, extra money will go to work-study positions and also make other things possible (paying musicians, providing lunch on Saturday and Sunday, et cetera). Part of the vision for the jam is to keep it affordable and accessible and to keep finances transparent. If you want any information about the budget, just ask.
Help with food:
Help gather and prepare food for the weekend. Seek out sponsorship and donations, or find affordable sources for simple organic wholesome food. If we get enough donations we should be able to offer lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Also food prep during the jam, slicing, processing, serving. Fun and easy work with excellent company in a tight space:) Contact Christine at [email protected]
Help with all the rest:
Inviting all interested and committed contacters to join in the creation of an awesome contact dance experience. This is my first attempt at such a big event and I have a whole lot of energy… and I could use a lot of help!
~ organization, delegation
~ registration and money
~ set-up and clean-up
~ seeking sponsorship
~ budgeting
~ all kinds of things you can think of and I haven't yet!
Special thanks to Paul Deering for the jam photos throughout the site... taken at our Tuesday night Jam last March.
